Mother Root is a full-of-flavour, alcohol-free experience that ignites the senses. Their Switchels are hand-crafted to taste good and make you feel good too. This is a fiery and refreshing mix of zingy ginger, mellow blossom honey and a touch of chilli heat, tied together with a racy zip of apple cider vinegar.

Apple cider vinegar, blossom honey, ginger juice, ginger extract, capsicum extract.

How to drink it

For those who like pretty tart flavours, you’ll love drinking our Ginger Switchel straight. But most Ginger fans like to tame its fiery bite with soda water, tonic or sparkling water, or mix it into cocktails.

To make a Ginger Switchel & Soda

  • Fill a tumbler full of ice.
  • Mix 25ml Ginger Switchel with 125ml soda water (or sparkling water).
  • Garnish with a slice of lemon and a rosemary sprig.

Each 25ml serving contains 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar and 4.7g of ginger.

The sugar content is 4.4g / 100ml when mixed as recommended: 1 part Mother Root with 5 parts sparkling water.
